Returns & Exchanges

Our purpose is to provide a fabulous online shopping experience for all our customers. It is also important to us that you absolutely love your purchase. Prior to shipping, each item is checked to ensure that it is in perfect condition. Each item is wrapped carefully and packaged in our sweet unique packaging.

Returns and Exchanges are accepted on all merchandise (excluding sale) within 5 business days of receipt for items that are in their original condition. That is for items that are; unworn, unwashed, unused and with all tags attached and associated packaging in original condition.
Pretty Mess does not accept returns on earrings or swimwear due to health regulations.
When trying on garments please take great care in not soiling them with such things as make up or deodorant streaks and ensure shoes are tried on carpet.
For sale items, you can choose to exchange or receive a store credit note. Refunds will not be accepted unless item is faulty.
To make a return or exchange contact Pretty Mess within 5 days of receiving your order at pretty.mess@outlook.com. Please include all details of the item you wish to return including location. In regards to an exchange we will check availability of stock or otherwise you may choose to return the item for a refund or store credit note.
Upon approval of your return/exchange Pretty Mess will provide a returns authorization number (RA. Without this number we will not accept your return. Securely repackage your returning item. All returns must arrive at Pretty Mess within 7 days of receiving this RA#. If the return arrives outside this time (without agreement with us), the item will not be accepted and returned to you.
Please ship to us at least via registered post as Pretty Mess do not take responsibility for lost items.

Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1-3 days of receiving the items. Once the item is inspected based on the above conditions – depending on your request we will either provide a refund, exchange, or a credit note.

For Exchange, with confirmation of availability, the new item will be shipped back to you FREE of charge.

For Refund, Pretty Mess will refund the value of the item (via the original form of payment ) within 3 days of receiving and accepting the returned item. Original shipping and handling, PayPal and credit card transaction charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty. You will be notified via email once this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution or paypal may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Pretty Mess

For Store Credit Note
, you will be sent a personalised credit note via post or email to use for future purchases, valued at the item you have returned and with no expiry (not redeemable in cash).   

For SALE items only Exchange or Credit Note is offered, and Exchanges within Australia are shipped to you free.

Pretty Mess
will continue to communicate with you, via email, to ensure you are well informed of the progress of your return. We reserve the right to reject returns or exchanges that do not comply with the guidelines and processes as stated above. In the instance your item is not accepted, it will be returned to you and neither a refund nor exchange granted.
